Concerning literacy, post length, and quality Empty Concerning literacy, post length, and quality

    1. Spelling, Grammar, Etc
Proper spelling and grammar is to maintained at all times, both in character and out of character. That said, the rules for chatting (out of character) are a bit more lax; commonly used abbreviations (ie, LOL) and improper grammar used jokingly are acceptable. Severely flawed spelling and/or grammar while in character will result in an immediate warning.

    2. Post Length
Some people say "quality over quantity". Others set strict word minimums. Here at PDL, we have our own approach. It's true that the content of your post is more important than how many words it has -- after all, you could spend a lot of words not doing much of anything. But it's not true that post length should be completely unregulated. We say every post must have at least one significant action. In other words -- your character has to do something! Give your partner something to react to.

    3. Quality
This is considered to be an advanced roleplay, so you should always strive to improve your writing. It's okay if you're not the next Ray Bradbury or J.R.R. Tolkien. Just try your best and always put your best effort forward!
